Smoother tabs, and boards that keep their shape
Tabs shrink to fit before the strip scrolls, dragging a tab over a board or video works, unsaved boards keep their content in a new window, and boards stay sharp when the zoom or display scale changes.
Version 2.8.2 polishes the tabs that arrived with 2.8.1 and fixes how boards react to zoom and display changes.
Highlights
- Tabs fit the window: with many tabs open, tabs now get narrower and shorten their titles before the strip starts to scroll, so every tab stays in view on smaller windows. The active tab always keeps its title and close button.
- Drag a tab anywhere: dragging a tab over a Strategy Board, a video or a document no longer gets stuck, and a drag that is interrupted always cancels cleanly.
- Unsaved boards keep their content in a new window (Strategy > Playbook, or Performance > Matches > a round > Open round in Playbook): moving a board you have not saved yet to its own window now brings its drawings, agents and moments along. If a board is too large to move or is still loading, kogni tells you why and keeps the tab where it is.
- A full tab strip stays put while you drag: dragging a tab off the strip no longer scrolls the strip or cuts off the first tab, and the "Release to open in a new window" hint now travels with the tab you are dragging.
- Boards keep their shape (Strategy > Playbook > open a board): changing the zoom or moving the window to a screen with a different display scale no longer makes agents disappear or bends vision cones. The board also stays sharp on high-resolution screens.
- Tab names on hover: a grouped icon tab no longer stays expanded with its name after you click it and switch away.
Nothing else changes; your tabs, boards and settings stay as they are.
