1. Agreement
By accessing or using kogni, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using kogni for a team, organization, school, or company, you confirm that you have authority to use kogni for that workspace or that the workspace owner has allowed your use.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use kogni.
2. Beta Access
kogni is currently invite-only Beta software. Beta features may be incomplete, may change without notice, and may include bugs, downtime, data corrections, migration work, or feature removals. We may approve, deny, limit, pause, or revoke Beta access to protect product quality, user safety, or service reliability.
kogni is free during Beta unless we expressly tell you otherwise. Paid plans, limits, billing terms, or commercial terms may be introduced later and will require separate notice or agreement.
3. Accounts, Roles, and Security
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure.
- You must not share accounts, bypass role permissions, or access another team workspace without authorization.
- Team owners, managers, captains, and admins are responsible for assigning roles carefully and managing team access.
- Notify us promptly through support if you believe your account, team, invite, or integration has been compromised.
4. Team Content and License
You and your team retain ownership of the content you upload, import, create, or sync into kogni, including match data, strategy notes, schedule events, tasks, goals, images, clips, team logos, and support materials.
You grant kogni a limited license to host, process, store, display, reproduce, modify, transmit, and create technical derivatives of that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve kogni and the user-facing features you use. This includes converting imported match data into analytics, syncing schedule events, rendering media, and making workspace content available to authorized team members.
You are responsible for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed to upload or sync content into kogni.
5. Third-Party Integrations
kogni may connect to third-party services such as Google Calendar and Discord. When you connect an integration, you authorize kogni to access, use, store, and transmit integration data only as needed to provide the connected feature.
For Google Calendar, kogni uses the authorized calendar data to provide visible two-way team schedule sync. You can disconnect Google Calendar in kogni or revoke access from your Google Account permissions. kogni's use of Google user data is also described in the Google Calendar section of our Privacy Policy.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. kogni is not responsible for third-party service outages, permission changes, API changes, or account actions.
6. AI Features
kogni may include AI-assisted features such as coaching prompts, summaries, review ideas, and workflow support. AI output is provided for assistance only and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your specific context.
Coaches, managers, analysts, IGLs, and players are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it. AI features do not replace human coaching judgment, competitive rules, legal advice, medical advice, or professional advice.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use kogni for cheating, live-match unfair advantage, malicious automation, or violation of tournament rules;
- attempt to access, scrape, copy, export, or modify data from teams or users you are not authorized to access;
- reverse engineer, decompile, tamper with, or bypass security controls in kogni except where allowed by law;
- upload malware, harmful code, illegal content, infringing content, or content that violates privacy or publicity rights;
- harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, or misrepresent another person, team, organization, or kogni staff member;
- overload, attack, spam, probe, or disrupt kogni infrastructure, APIs, support systems, or integrations;
- use kogni in a way that violates applicable laws or third-party terms.
8. Riot Games and VALORANT
kogni is an independent product and is not endorsed by Riot Games. VALORANT and Riot Games-related marks belong to their respective owners.
kogni is designed for practice review, team operations, and post-process analytics. You are responsible for using kogni consistently with Riot's terms, anti-cheat expectations, tournament rules, league rules, and your team's obligations.
9. Desktop Software, Downloads, and Updates
kogni may provide a Windows desktop app, local parser workflows, auto-update flows, release downloads, and related files. You may use kogni software only for your own team or organization workflows and in accordance with these Terms.
We may update the desktop app automatically or provide new releases. Updates may change, add, or remove functionality. You are responsible for installing updates needed for security, bug fixes, compatibility, and continued service access.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to kogni if we believe you violated these Terms, created security risk, abused the service, infringed rights, created legal exposure, or used Beta access in a way that harms other users or product reliability.
You may stop using kogni at any time. Some team content may remain in shared workspaces controlled by team owners or authorized roles unless deleted according to the app's controls and our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers and Limits
kogni is provided "as is" and "as available" during Beta, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee that kogni will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, compatible with every workflow, or that analytics or AI output will be complete or correct.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, kogni will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, tournament outcomes, competitive decisions, or business interruption. kogni's total liability for any claim related to the service will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid to kogni for the service in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as kogni changes. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice in the app, on the website, or by email where appropriate. Continued use of kogni after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Contact
For Terms, account, integration, or support questions, contact kogni through the Help page or the support flow available in your kogni account.
